Medical Disclaimer

Psychedelic Connect is a treatment-advisory and education service. The content on this website — including information about conditions, treatments, providers, and research — is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for the advice, diagnosis, or treatment of a qualified physician or licensed healthcare professional.

We do not practice medicine, provide treatment, prescribe, or establish a doctor–patient relationship with you. Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified provider with any questions about a medical condition or treatment, and never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you read here.

Psychedelic substances carry real medical and legal risks and are not appropriate for everyone. Nothing here should be read as encouragement to obtain, possess, or use any substance in violation of applicable law, or outside of appropriate medical supervision where lawful.

02 · No guarantees

General Disclaimer

The website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We work to keep information current and cite reputable sources, but we do not warrant that any content is error-free or up to date.

No outcomes are guaranteed. Individual results from any treatment vary, and references to research or outcomes describe published findings or commonly reported experiences — not a promise of any particular result for you or a loved one.

Third-party providers

Treatment providers referenced or introduced through our service are independent third parties. We evaluate providers against our Provider Standard™ and, where a visit has been completed, in person, but we do not own, operate, or control them and are not responsible for the care they deliver. Any treatment decision, and any relationship or agreement you enter into with a provider, is solely between you and that provider.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Psychedelic Connect and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the website, your reliance on its content, or any interaction with a third-party provider.

03 · The agreement

Use of the site

  • Use the site only for lawful purposes and in a way that doesn't infringe others' rights or restrict their use.
  • Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems.
  • Don't misrepresent your identity or provide false information when contacting us or an advisor.

The site, its design, text, graphics, logos, and the "Provider Standard™" and "Psychedelic Connect" marks are owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view and share content for personal, non-commercial use with attribution, but you may not copy, republish, or use it commercially without written permission.

The site may link to third-party websites, studies, videos, or resources. We provide these for convenience and do not endorse or take responsibility for their content, accuracy, or practices.

04 · Your privacy

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and treat the information you share — especially sensitive health information — with care. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

  • Information you provide: name, email, phone, and any details you choose to share about your situation, a loved one's situation, or the care you're exploring (which may include health-related information).
  • Automatically collected: standard technical data such as IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, and referring source, collected via cookies and analytics tools.

How we use it

  • To respond to you, provide advisory guidance, and — with your consent — introduce you to appropriate verified providers.
  • To improve the website and our services, and to communicate with you (you can opt out of non-essential messages at any time).
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect the rights and safety of our users.

How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only: (a) with a treatment provider when you ask us to make an introduction or otherwise consent; (b) with service providers who help us operate (e.g., secure hosting, CRM, analytics) under confidentiality obligations; or (c) where required by law.

Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and analytics (for example, to understand site usage). You can control cookies through your browser settings. Where required, we'll ask for your consent.

Data security & retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and we retain it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below. We honor "do not sell / do not share" requests where applicable.

05 · Sensitive by nature

Your Health Information

Because of what we do, you may share information about your own or a loved one's health, mental-health, or substance-use history. We understand how sensitive this is and treat it accordingly.

How we handle protected/sensitive health information:
  • We keep it confidential and use it only to help you understand options and, with your consent, to coordinate an introduction to a provider.
  • We never sell health information, and we don't use it for advertising.
  • We limit access to team members who need it to help you, under confidentiality obligations.
  • We store it using reasonable safeguards and retain it only as long as necessary.
  • We share it with a provider only with your consent or where required by law.

Psychedelic Connect is an advisory and education service and is generally not a "covered entity" under the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). This means information you share with us may not be "protected health information" under HIPAA in the way it would be with a hospital or clinic. Even so, we choose to handle your health information with a high standard of confidentiality and care. Once you engage a treatment provider directly, that provider's own privacy practices and legal obligations (which may include HIPAA or the laws of their jurisdiction) will apply to the information they collect.

Please share only what you're comfortable sharing, and avoid sending highly sensitive details through unsecured channels.

06 · How we're paid

Compensation Disclosure

Our guidance and advisory services are provided without a fee charged to you or your family. To sustain our work, Psychedelic Connect may receive compensation from treatment providers when we introduce or refer a client who then proceeds with care — most commonly with the ibogaine and 5-MeO-DMT facilities in our verified network.

We disclose this openly here because trust matters to us. Two commitments:

  • It does not change your cost. Any compensation we receive comes from the provider and does not increase the price you pay.
  • It does not lower our bar. Whether a provider is compensated has no bearing on whether they pass our Provider Standard™, or on which provider we believe genuinely fits your situation. A provider cannot buy their way onto our list, and we're willing to tell you when no option is the right one.

Where we reference third-party research, media, books, or resources, those are provided for education and are not paid placements unless expressly stated.
