How do you find a vetted ibogaine clinic?
Not by location — by medical standard. No licensed clinic exists in the United States, so the search is for a clinic abroad, usually Mexico, that has a physician on site, ECG and labs before dosing, continuous monitoring and an emergency protocol. What a Legitimate Provider Must Require
If any item is missing from a provider’s intake, treat it as disqualifying.
- 12-lead EKG — QTc interval measured and reviewed by a physician
- Comprehensive metabolic panel — liver enzymes (ALT/AST), kidney function, electrolytes (K, Mg, Na)
- Complete blood count and current drug screen
- Full medication review — contraindicated medications identified and safely tapered
- Medical & psychiatric history — cardiac events, seizures, psychosis screened
- Continuous cardiac monitoring during dosing, not periodic checks
- Emergency-trained staff on site — ACLS capability and a hospital transfer plan
- Red flag: any provider who says screening is optional, or quotes a price before reviewing your medical history

No. Ibogaine is Schedule I; licensed clinics operate abroad, mainly Mexico.
How do you vet clinics?

How long is the trip?
Most US cities are a 2–5 hour flight from Cancún or Tijuana; programs run 5–10 days.
What does it cost?
Programs at the clinics we work with generally run $5,000–$15,000 depending on length of stay and facility, before travel. The $5,000 floor is a negotiated rate that applies only where no detox is required and you are not currently using; most people should plan against the middle of the range.
